Eat well but without attacking your health: our commitment aims on one side to the discovery and valuation of local cooking traditions adapted to the tastes of period, and on the other side an involvement of Italian and international cooking, without placing limits to creativity.
In the Witches' Kitchen of the Posthotel Lamm the Herb Guild of the Salingen, the good witches of Mount Sciliar, finds its continuation. Over the centuries delivered herb recipes are consulted by our kitchen chef Helmut Mairhofer, in order to spice fine regional and international dishes. The herbs originate from the mountain pastures of the Siusi Alps, as well as from our own Herb Garden. And notes and tastes develop and bewitch our guests.
The delightful plates from the Witches' Kitchen are all spiced with the Sciliar Witches' Herbs, directly from the garden of the Posthotel Lamm. In the "Fable restaurant" not only delicious plates with South Tyrolean specialties are served, but also some nice stories from old times.
Originally Aiguana was the legendary name of those Sciliar Witches who dedicated their life to the healing force of the water. A multiplicity of Aiguana prescriptions have survived until the present day: water, herbs and oils, creams and ointments as well as many herb teas are part of the different treatments in our Wellness Paradise. In "SabbiaMed Area", you can be illuminated by the daylight, lying on fine-frained sand.
The Aiguana baths – The precious and extensive Aiguana baths are coordinated with the physiological reactions of humans. The complete cycle is consists of 6 steps: 1) An alternated foot bath according to th eKneipp method - 2) A cup of tea, made of herbs grown in the Herb Garden of the Posthotel Lamm - 3) A shower with special shower oils - 4) A 20 minute bath - 5) 30-45 minutes reaction and relax period in the Sabbia Med Area or the Relax Area - 6) A 15 minute neck and shoulder massage
