The hotels Mursia and Cossyra, in true mediterranean style, are situated by the sea, in an isolated and quiet position, on the north-east coast of the island of Pantelleria, in the locality of Mursia, the nearest Italian geographical point to Africa.

The diving school offers the PADI and SSI certificates and organizes archeologic, nocturnal and cavern-oriented excursions in the most fascinating depths of the island. It also offers courses on diving in apnea and on underwater photography. All necessary equipment can be rented from the school. The Mursia Sailing school organizes theory and practice courses at 3 different levels of instruction.
Local guides organize daily excursions around the island and in its interior; they follow the ancient paths through woods and volcanoes, discovering thermal springs, archeological sites and the beauties of nature in places such as The Nature Reserve of the Island of Pantelleria. Scooters, motorbikes and cars can be rented. There is a free shuttle service between the hotels and the town of Pantelleria.
