On the Island of Salina in the Archipelago of the Eolian Islands, the Signum is a Charme Hotel resting in the shade of the two silent volcanoes of this verdant Island. The Signum Hotel is the result of the faithful renovation of an ancient Eolian Village just a few steps away from the sea. It is the fruit of the passion and good taste of its friendly owners, the Caruso-Rametta family who, with their untiring devotion, have given this place a magical touch. It is set amidst malva (common mallow), capperi (capers), ginestra (broom), and the many other plants which form part of the Island of Salina's lush vegetation.
These are also the fragrant names assumed by each of the rooms, a further demonstration of their uniqueness. Each room is, in fact, different from the others: all can boast modern creature comforts, some enjoy a terrace, others a small balcony, but whether the green of nature or the sea, both solutions enjoy inspiring views. The décor has been carefully studied down to the last detail, with period furniture, prized accessories and comfortable fabrics. The rooms can be divided into three types, to enable each of the guests to satisfy their own requirements, they are offered the possibility of staying in Classic, Superior and De Luxe rooms.
Totally immersed in the fragrant groves of citrus fruit trees and jasmine, you will be able to enjoy the many relaxation areas: the swimming pool offering an enchanting view, the solarium sun-bathing area, the large gardens, the rich library furnished with elegant sofas, period armchairs and antique prints.
The panoramic terraces, with a view over Stromboli and Panarea, house the bar and the renowned restaurant where you may savour by candlelight both aperitifs and evening dinners; with the choice of the island’s exquisite traditional dishes as well as much more besides, including classic and revisited dishes, realised with the season’s products and selected ingredients.
We take our inspiration from a philosophy of light and absolutely Mediterranean cuisine. The wine list offers a studied selection of labels from Sicily, the south of Italy, as well as all of the production of Salina.
