The Hotel Baja Azzura located in the town of Barisardo, Ogliastra, overlooks the sea of the central eastern part of Sardinia. It is only 250 meters far from the beautiful sandy beach of Torre di Barì which it is very characteristic of the imposing Spanish tower that overlooks the crystal-clear seawater of Sardinia. The Hotel suggests you several itineraries to discover a land full of surprises between the sea, the nature, the mountains, the history and the typical culture of the real Sardinia.
The Hotel Baja Azzurra is dipped in the green lawn of its garden where there is a luxuriant and reinvigorating nature full of different shades of flowers and the scent of myrtle and corbezzolo trees. You will find a worming welcome in a familiar context that has been well organized by the Deplano/Lai family, for more than ten years. It is a peaceful and relaxing place with all the facilities where you can spend your holidays.
At the ground floor are located the reception, the bar and the two restaurant rooms: one is inside and the other is outside, where in a romantic atmosphere you can have a candlelit dinner by the pool and taste the best local wines, among which our Cannonau. Our cuisine, just renewed in the management, offers a unique taste of the best local and typical Sardinian products and the Mediterranean cuisine. The half board menu changes every day and offers meat and fish dishes.
On Saturdays we prepare a typical Sardinian dinner with culurgiones (a typical Sardinian ravioli), pork roasted meat and roasted potatoes. The hotel's vegetable garden produces everyday fresh genuine vegetables. It is possible to sunbath and relax either in the garden or by the pool, which is provided of a whirlpool bath, and it is either for children and adults. Free tennis courts (where you can rent rackets and tennis balls) and large parking complete the series of our services that we offer to our guests. You will find during the summer months on the beach evening entertainment and piano bar.
Two rooms are supplied for disable people. All rooms have a bathroom with shower and blow dryer, telephone, TV, air conditioning, heat and minibar.
All the rooms located at the first floor, have a balcony and a platform where it is eventually possible add another bed. Those located on the ground floor overlook the inner garden and the bigger ones have even a private porch with a table and chairs.
